About this assembly

A civic assembly focused on strengthening democratic participation in Washington’s 3rd Congressional District (WA‑03), supporting transparent dialogue between residents and their elected representatives, and promoting accountability in public decision‑making.

Washington’s 3rd Congressional District (WA‑03) covers the southwestern region of the state, including Vancouver, Clark County, and surrounding rural and coastal communities. The district is represented in the U.S. House by Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, who serves a politically diverse constituency with a mix of suburban, rural, and small‑city perspectives.

This Assembly provides a structured, nonpartisan space for residents to share priorities, deliberate on community issues, and monitor follow‑through on public commitments. By creating an open and transparent forum, the Assembly helps bridge differences across the district and strengthens trust in democratic processes.

- Proposal Review Group: Helps categorize, merge, or clarify community proposals before deliberation.

- Accountability & Follow‑Up Team: Tracks commitments, monitors progress, and updates public dashboards.

- Community Outreach Team: Ensures participation from underrepresented areas and groups across WA‑03.

All teams operate with clear, public guidelines and rotate responsibilities to maintain fairness and ope nness.
